Windows session parameters

Use the parameters listed in Table 3–7 to control a Windows session.

Table 3–7: Windows session parameters

Syntax	Parameter	Purpose
-basekey name	Registry base key1	Identify the registry basekey to use for environment information.
-evtlevel value	Event level	Specify the level of information written to the Windows Event Log.
-ininame name	Initialization file1	Identify the initialization registry sub-key or the application’s initialization (.INI) file.
-Wa -wpp	Windows passthrough printing1	Enable Windows Passthrough Printing mode.
-wss	Windows single session	Limit a Windows GUI user to running one client session at a time.
-wy	Windows exit—no dialog	Prevent prompt for confirmation when Windows shuts down while OpenEdge is active.

1You can use this parameter only on the command line. It is not supported in a parameter (.pf) file.
